Budget and Finance Treasurer Belle Ocampo – separate report
Belle reminded people that membership fees are due at the
end of April each year. She named a few of the chapters that
have not paid their fees.

Formulate strategies to act on issues, legislation, and public
Policies that may affect the MT profession.”
Reported some changes on the legislative process happening

SPECIAL COMMITTEES

Nominations and ElectionChairperson Jela Ibarra
Referred to Article lV Section 2. Election
Jela defined designated members as “members who are
representing the chapters”.

Election – candidates
1.Candidates must be a  member of a recognized chapter
2.Must be fully registered for the convention
3.Must be personally present at the convention
4.Must be of good moral character
5.In order to win must have 50%  vote plus 1
6.Campaign speeches must be limited to 1 minute or less
7.Campaign speech rules apply from board of directors up to President-elect

Suggestion: It should be mandatory for all currently elected officers to attend the National Convention.

Conflicts within the chapters must be resolved internally
first. PAMET USA will only intervene if the conflict
is not resolved.


Special Liaison to the Phil.Chairperson Ricky Martinez
Ricky has not received any books or other donations from the
members.
Ricky thanked PAMET Nevada for donating $600.00 to
PAMET Phil. Presidents when she was hospitalized in Manila

       $614.00 – fare for the 3rd and 4rth person in cabin
** For every 8 cabins booked we get 1 free passenger that will be awarded to the lecturers.

Deposit: $250.00 at time of booking
Everyone will be provided $100.00 shipboard credit
For every 50 cabins booked, we get 5 free passengers

Suggestion that “All members present at any executive board meeting must be allowed to vote on issues proposed and presented by the Executive board. This suggestion did not pass at this time due to the violations in the Constitution that addresses the quorum.

Convention Awards- Suggestion FROM Esther Madamba
Only one plaque of recognition shall be given to all participants of a particular chapter during the induction ball.

All participants will be called for presentation and recognition and the plaque are awarded for the entire group to be received by the chapter president.

The President elect will give the names of those deserving members in recognition of their services and dedication.

Suggestions for award criteria are welcome
